We had fun at the lively Fire versus Police Departments' Hockey Game to benefit the local Childrens Hospital. Bryant got to meet the really big fireman (wow, no elevator for that guy, thankfully they have stairs!) and Max the Mascot!
(Sadly, Bryant passed away March 21, 2009 at age 20)
Bryant was born with a rare chromosome translocation involving chromosomes #3, 7 & 11. He wasn't expected to survive that day. Bryant had some challenges, a tracheostomy (helped him breathe) and a g-tube (helped him eat). He used a power wheelchair and/or walker to get around and a Dynavox to communicate with people. He loved to get to know people and share his story. He loved Disney World, horseback riding, skiing, swimming and just kicking back and relaxing. He worked with advocacy groups. We miss him terribly. What a loss for this world, what a huge gaping void.

Wow Bryant you've sure been one busy guy. The hockey game sounds fun. Take care and keep the blogs coming.
